GRIINI and the Meeting of Tomorrow

Meeting room Griini is part of The Conference Hotel of Tomorrow research project that aims to find out, what are the changes that will take place in future meetings.
As a lab for the project an innovative meeting room Griini was built, which companies can book for holding meetings. Prototype Griini offers the use of SMART Board interactive whiteboard together with a cosy and homely atmosphere.
HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences together with TEKES and other partners have designed the test environment.
The concept is an operation model for offering physical, virtual and social facilities within the test environment. Since the first FCHoT will be located in the premises of BEST WESTERN PLUS Hotel Haaga, this is also the first test environment where companies can develop and test their own conference hotel products and services.
Similarly the FCHoT -concept can be duplicated in other hotels which allow them then to offer similar test environments in their own premises.
